1-400 2h swords, 2 hours 12 minutes, 99% of the time in combat, against level 75-80 mobs (I was in normal until 350 or so skill, then went heroic), 1-4 mobs all the time, not just only one, hitting special skills to get more hits in. The fuck it didn't take long, good damn motherfucking good riddance, may weapon skills rot in hell and never return.

EDIT: Also, I dare you, to raise 400 throwing skill as rogue.

Didn't actually take that long. (well getting from 399->400 did) :)

Clean ICC made it a bit easier but not having auto attack kinda sucked.

They are finally getting rid of that obsolete mechanic? Good riddance.
Someone actually argued with me on the official forum that it was a mechanic that makes people feel more involved in their character. It was a hunter or druid iirc...

Dont understand the fuzz about weapon skill. It is a nice blue line in the chatlog that is going on and on "lower" level it is at least some sort of roleplaying help when you just miss the first time you hit with an axe if you used swords before that.

It had hardly a downside, since everyone had their current main weaponskill up to max-1 shortly after each ding and as soon as a new weapon came along they just rapidly moved them to max-1.

If you had zero weaponskill and enter ICC I am sure you would be close to max at the time your raid reaches marrowgar.

So: Not a real loss, but not something to be excited about imho

Overall, the changes to mechanichs seem to be good.
I hope they also change the 5man-zerg-no-aoe-or-communication-needed-for-planing-a-pull-with-cc-instances will be tuned down to a normal 5man mmo-experience. And I also hope that aggro becomes something to worry about again. And hopefully they remove the possibility of aoe-ing all trash. Maybe AOE-spell immunity or sth? similiar to what hunter pets have. And hi frozen guys btw. Emeriss still sucks, yes.

They are taking away everything that could make difference ... like.. armor penetration... because it's too hard for 'idiots' (here referring to people with IQ of <4 year olds) to figure out how it works. So, uh, well, duh. Probably won't kill the game but gear will be quite boring, thank you.

Edit; and I thought I was last alliance player left on emeriss before I migrated.
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Technical question: did they dodge precious on purpose to kill rotface, killed the leftover bosses, then they aggroed precious and they just fled to the teleporter? Also how could precious find a path to the top, shouldn't he just evade or the teleporter actually brings him to the top too? Or it's just a hacked server?

It is user friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly.

its <GOON SQUAD> its a massive gild that does all kinds of funny stuff.

they captured wintergrasp within a few seconds after start, with tons and tons of engineers dismounting above the entrance and placing seaforium charges at the door.

when there is something "funny" to do, they usually world first it.

so i have no doubt that this is/was possible on live-servers.

looks nice. going to buy it!

Seriously though: Not that much of a difference to the other paid services they offer (gender, faction, server change e.g.)

Question will be: Where do they draw the line? Will they offer "Complete T14 Set for only 99.99$" at some point?

The Line is already drawn by GC in some forum post. (can't find it atm.)

Only flavor Items will be purchasable. (pets, mounts, tabards, ...). They will never sell items that have a direct influence on your characters performance.

edit: enjoy the nerdraging in the forums :)

Well, they're different instances afterall, would be like getting 10man achievements for doing 25man stuff.

its quite safe to assume if one can do Insanity he most likely would be able to pull the call as well. Its like:

"Hey Michael Schumacher, you pulled this lap in 1:47:124 in heavy rain. Now prove to us you can do it again on a dry lap".

palm ---> face.

Logically it is, technically it's not.

System also says you first must complete normal to be even able of doing hard one. The technicality was added for player convenience.

and we are at 15% this week.

I would almost vote for: lady, rot, fester achieves today ? or are we hunting those "AFTER" we had a successful sindragosa kill ?

After imo, now we at least have somewhat steady setup to go for Sindra, can't say the same thing for sure after a good month or so.
